The trend the article was highlighting is that Colleges are starting to deny students admission due to things they have posted online to sites like Twitter or Facebook. If a student posted things insulting the college or teachers, they would most likely not be accepted. I think this trend will continue, because most people believe that they say whatever they feel on the internet without any consequences. So students will post what they truly think without thinking about it first. If students post such things they won't be admitted into most colleges, severely damaging their chance of a good education. If they couldn't get a good education, they won't be able to get a good job.
